Twilight's Kellan Lutz To Guest Star On Family Guy

Kellan Lutz

Whatever cross-section exists between the fanbases of teen vampire phenomenon Twilight and FOX's animated comedy Family Guy is about to become very happy. Kellan Lutz, who plays a member of the blood-sucking Cullen family in the Twilight Saga, has signed on to guest star on an upcoming episode of Seth McFarlane's crown jewel. The episode will air this fall, as the program enters its 11th season.

Lutz's character will become romantically involved with a member of the Griffin family, although it may not be who you would expect. Lutz will voice a high-school football star that is the subject of Meg Griffin's "Burt Bacharach-backed sexual fantasies." Hopefully an animated Austin Powers introduces them with "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Burt Bacharach."

Lutz's studly quarterback does agree to go out with Meg, but not because he likes her. As is so often the case with Meg, the show's perpetual whipping post. Anyway, it seems that this athletic Adonis is only interested in the "end zone" of one member of the Griffin family, and it's not a woman. Could it be her brother Chris? Her father Peter? Brian the dog? Stewie?! I honestly can't even attempt to predict what McFarlane has planned. He's shown repeatedly that Family Guy will go anywhere and everywhere to get a laugh.

Does this storyline involving Kellan Lutz sound like fun to you? Who do you think he has the hots for?
