Food Network has a Birthday treat for Freeview viewers

It has been announced that as of July 20th, Food Network will be available 24/7 on Freeview channel 49, rather than the 4 hour evening slot it is currently on air.

To celebrate it's first year on the platform, the service will be available for the first time constantly. Already available 24/7 on Sky and Freesat, the Scripps network service will also be airing some new UK content with 'Andy Bates Street Feasts' and 'Reza, spice Prince of India'. The network is also famous for airing shows such as 'Barefoot Contessa' and 'Man Vs Food'.

Managing director of Food Network International Nick Thorogood said of the news

"Today's news is a testament to the quality of our programming and Food Network UK's popularity and reputation amongst viewers. By extending our hours on this platform, all Freeview households will now be able to enjoy our great food entertainment all day, every day."

How about having a way to submit corrections to articles? The only way seems to be via the comments.

""..rather then the 4 hour" It's rather THAN. Who wrote this a 6 year old?"

So he screwed up, it happens. That hardly warrants name calling. Not that Tom needs me to fight his battles for him, but I get so sick of how the default reaction of anyone on the internet to any kind of mistake is to be mean. Has no one online heard of the phrase "constructive criticism"?
