Steven Tyler Leaves 'Idol'

Well, after 2 seasons on American Idol, the newly rejoined band member of Aerosmith has decided that it is time for him to focus more on the band rather than judging the talent show. A while back, Jennifer Lopez hinted that she was going to be leaving the show and then quickly said that it was taken out of context. With Tyler, he decided to make the first walkout and leave 'American Idol' for good. However, many wonder as well if Jennifer Lopez will follow behind. With both singers getting their singing career jumpstarted again thanks to the popularity of 'Idol', both Tyler and Lopez have seen a jump in their sales as they released hit after hit on the charts. (Mostly Lopez with "Get on the Floor") However, what does this mean for 'Idol'?

Well, for starters, this means that the American Idol family is going to be shopping around for judges. There have already been rumors as to who would be that third judge including Adam Lambert, Season 8 runner-up, and Miley Cyrus. With Jennifer Lopez hinting further that she was thinking more about leaving to do things that she loves and then saying that 'Idol' is a good show, it might be time for her to leave as well. However, as of now, it is only Tyler who has decided to leave and the creators are looking to replace him with someone new. The producers have loved having Tyler come on 'Idol' and give the years that he did. Farewell Steven. We all look forward to your new album when it hits shelves in November.
