Wilmer Valderrama, well-known for his stint on That '70s Show as well as being romantically linked to...almost everyone in Hollywood at one time or another, is about to add another notch to his (fictional) bedpost: Melanie Griffith.
Valderrama has signed on for a multi-episode stint on Raising Hope, a comedy on Fox preparing to enter its third season. The show is about Jimmy, a man in his early 20's who raises his infant daughter alone, after the girls mother is executed after being revealed to be a serial killer.
Griffith will play Tamara, the mother of Sabrina, Jimmy's girlfriend. And Wilmer will be romancing her in the new season. He has signed on for a minimum of three shows, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The always awesome Stephen Root played Sabrina's father in the second season.
Valderrama recently starred in NBC's Awake and has also appeared on the Wizards of Waverly Place, Men at Work and Royal Pains.
The video below was used to advertise the show before it began airing. I've never seen it, as Fox shows generally don't do it for me. It feels like it has a My Name is Earl vibe to it. Does this news make you more likely to watch the show? If you've seen it before, what do you think of the show? Is it worth checking out?

Yeah, it, I believe, is from the same creators of "My Name Is Earl" and it's definitely of a particular ilk. I personally really like the show and find it very funny and also sweet at times.
