Warning: This article contains minor spoilers for the next few episodes of True Blood.
Without question, the hottest vampire vixen on television today is True Blood's Jessica Hamby, a relatively new bloodsucker in the world of the HBO supernatural drama. Played by the vivacious redhead Deborah Ann Woll, Jessica was turned into a vampire against her will at the tender age of seventeen during the first season and has had plenty of growing up to do since that time. Recently, Deborah Ann sat down with Entertainment Weekly's Sandra Gonzalez for an episode of Spoiler Room Video Edition to discuss the final three episodes of Season Five that will air over the following three Sundays at 9:00 pm Eastern.
While the likeable young actress didn't come right out and reveal any major spoilers, she did promise that the upcoming season finale would be the show's "bloodiest" yet and would end on a cliffhanger that she felt was the best one True Blood had ever produced. When asked about a scene from the next episode that shows a pale and seemingly lifeless Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) laying in an open grave with Jessica, Deborah Ann was coy and did not dispel the notion that Jessica may have turned Jason—her former lover—into a vampire. She had earlier said that she hoped Jessica could find a long-term romantic interest, but cryptically noted that there wasn't enough time left in the season for something like that to develop.
Woll also hinted that Jessica's ex-boyfriend Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) was either killed or badly maimed after being thrown into a pen of hungry pigs last week, and said that while Jessica is no longer in love with Hoyt, she still cared deeply for him. The stone-cold fire-haired fox feels that Jess will have a strong difference of opinion with her vampire maker Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) when they meet again due to his recent spiritual awakening, which resulted in Bill and a group of powerful vampires to start butchering and feeding on humans once again.
I don't really think they would turn Jason into a vampire because he is the one main character without any supernatural qualities, other than the ability to have sex with every woman in town. It would be interesting, though. How have you felt about the fifth season of True Blood?
