FX has decided to pick up a fourth season of The League, ordering 13 more episodes of the fantasy football comedy. This season has seen the show hit a series-high ratings score across the board.
The third season of The League has averaged 1.7 million total viewers and 1.5 million adults aged between 18-49, with both figures up 25% and 32% respecitively from it's previous seasons.
FX's Executive Vice President Nick Grad noted that " The League continues to be one of our most successful comedy series bothe creatively and from a ratings standpoint. Jack and Jeff Schaffer, along with our terrific cast, are doing wonderful work each week to make one of the funniest shows on television and we're excited to order another season."
There are only 3 more episode left in it's current season, with episode 11, entitled The Guest Bong, airing on Thursday at 22.30 PM.
