Dexter Morgan's (Michael C. Hall) life is going to hell.
As the last season of Showtime's Dexter concluded, Dexter's sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) walked in and saw something he never wanted her to see. And now, in a new video teaser released hyping the forthcoming seventh season of the show, which will be the penultimate season, we see that Dexter's life is falling apart around him and he is as close to being found out as ever. Whew. That showed us a lot of what is going to go down, such as:
Deb's struggling to cope with what Dexter is.
Deb helps Dexter cover it up.
Dexter's outbursts becoming more frequent and less planned out.
Louis, the video game designer, apparently greatly upseting Dexter. Really, really bad idea.
Deb tells Dexter that it will never be okay. Guess she doesn't question her romantic notions towards him any longer...
La Guerta, who still struggles dealing with her friend Doakes being "revealed" as the Bay Harbor Butcher, finding evidence that might clear him.
Deb snapping and attacking Dexter.
Deb reinvestigating the Ice Truck Killer case.
A new masked mennace, who looks like he should shout "Fus Ro Dah." Elder Scrolls: Skyrim people know what I'm taking about.
Dexter returns Sunday, Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
I have to say, the last two seasons have been lackluster, but this trailer looks fantastic.
