America never gets enough reality TV, especially when it’s a peak into the lives of some sort of lifestyle the “average” person can only dream of having. The need for reality TV is so big that even Clint Eastwood is getting in on the action.
The 81-year-old actor-turned-director agreed to let E! into this daily life, recording every angle of what it’s like to be a “Hollywood Royalty” couple. Cameras will follow Clint (only briefly), wife Dina and daughters Morgan and Francesa. According to sources close to the show, Francesa is an 18-year-old inspiring actress. Okay, now it makes sense. Clint’s not just a director, he’s a business man. He knows this will help boost her career, at least a little.. Let’s just ignore the fact that SHE’S CLINT EASTWOOD’S DAUGHTER.
Unlike other shows on the channel, like “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” or “Pretty Wild,” the subjects of the show are famous for being more than just famous. Clint Eastwood is one of the most respected actors and directors of all time. Once all is said and done, people like comedian Jonah Hill won’t be blasting the family for being talent less.
Of course there’s probably other celebrities we’d rather get a glimpse at their private lives. For example, what is it truly like for a day in the life of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith? The problem is that these families realize the stress related to the exposure of shooting a reality show just isn’t worth it.
The Eastwoods’ reality show, produced by Bunim/Murphy, is rumored to debut in late summer or fall on E!.
