Game of Thrones Casts New Daenerys Love Interest, Eunuch General

Game of Thrones has added two new cast members to the mix for its upcoming third season. The two new characters, Daario Naharis and Grey Worm, are drastically different characters, with one thing in common: Daenerys (Emilie Clarke). She's got a rather big storyline coming up for the third season, of which both new characters are major parts. So who are they, and who's playing them?

The first, Daario Naharis, is the flamboyant head of the mercenary group the Stormcrows. A flamboyant mercenary, you ask? Well, he's dyed both his hair and this three-pronged beard blue, and paints his mustache gold. Daenerys can't quite help but be enamored with him, but those feelings take a backseat to her bigger plans for Essos.

Daario will be played by newcomer Ed Skrein, who has two minor acting credits to his name. Prior to becoming an actor Skrein served as an MC. Skrein is also extremely athletic, having reportedly swum the English channel in 2009, "cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats (2011) and completed numerous Triathlons and half-marathons" (according to his IMDb profile). Sounds like he's certainly physically fit enough for the role of Daario.

Grey Worm, meanwhile, is a much more understated character, though just as fierce. He is the leader of the Unsulied, a group of eunuch slave soldiers hired by Daenerys as she continues across the continent. Grey Worm will be played by young British actor Jacob Anderson. The 22-year-old actor already bosts an impressive resume, which includes a recurring role on this season of Showtime's Episodes, ITV's Injustice, and spots on Spooks and Primeval.

Skrein and Anderson have a weird fact in comon as well: both have recorded tracks with British rapper Plan B.

Game of Thrones season 3 will premiere March 31, 2013 on HBO.
