The 25th installment of Survivor will include a little celebrity star power.

The “Survivor: Philippines” cast will include former Major League Baseball star Jeff Kent and Lisa Whelchel from “The Facts of Life,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kent, 44, played for the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. Whelchel, 49, played Blair on the popular ‘80s sitcom.
Three former players who previously were evacuated during their respective seasons for medical reasons will be announced as the final three competitors this week. One of each of these players will be on the three tribes, which are: Kalabaw (water buffalo); Tandang (rooster); and Matsing (monkey).
The announced cast members include: Kalabaw tribe- Sarah Dawson, 28, Silver Spring, Maryland, insurance sales; Katie Hanson, 22, Newark, Delaware, former Miss Delaware; Kent; Dana Lambert, 32, Winston Salem, North Carolina, cosmetologist; Carter Williams, 24, Shawnee, Kansas, track coach. Tandang- Abi Maria Gomes, 32, Los Angeles, business student; Roberta “RC” Saint-Amour, 27, New York, investment banker; Artis Silvester, 53, Terry Town, Lousiana, computer engineer; Whelchel; Peter Yurkowski, 24, Holmdel, New Jersey, engineering graduate. Matsing tribe- Malcolm Freberg, 25, Hermosa Beach, California; Zane Knight, 28, Danville, Virginia, tire repair; Angie Layton, 20, Utah, student; Roxanne Morris, 28, Brooklyn, New York; seminary student; Denise Stapley, 41, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, sex therapist.
