You loved her as Girl #2 on Married With Children. You were captivated by her portrayal of an inexplicably hispanic pilot in Starship Troopers. You marveled at her sex scene with Neve Campbell in Wild Things. You wondered aloud how any casting director could possibly believe she was a believable nuclear physicist in The World Is Not Enough. Now, brace yourself for Denise Richards' latest award winning endeavor: a guest starring role on the CW's remake of 90210.
According to EW.com, the former (and let's face it, probably future) Mrs. Charlie Sheen will be appearing in the 100th(!) episode of the popular CW drama, currently set to air on November 26th. Richards will be playing Gwen, a sexy (naturally) alum of West Beverly High, who is now a prominent socialite in the community. Gwen heads an exclusive club of powerful women, a club that AnnaLynne McCord's Naomi will do just about anything to become a member of. Unfortunately, Naomi comes to find out that Gwen's group is just as bad any high school "mean girl" clique.
Despite my poking fun at her career above, Richards does tend to excel in these types of backstabbing hellcat roles, and I mean that in the nicest way. For evidence, check out the underrated comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous. While I personally have no desire to watch 90210 (I'm far from the target audience), I'm sure the show's fans will enjoy the back and forth between AnnaLynne and Denise. 90210 returns for its fifth season on October 8th.
Is Denise Richards a good fit for 90210?
