Hot in Cleveland has been a break out hit for TV Land. Sean Hayes, of Will & Grace, fame will do a
guest star stint next Wednesday. Not surprisingly, he is also one of the producers of the hit sitcom. In fact his appearance on the show has been anticipated by the fans. In a clip for the episode he is shown going on a date with Victoria ( Wendie Malick).

The show has shown strong ratings for TV land. Hot in Cleveland was their first shot at their own comedy and it paid off. It was hard to go wrong with 4 leading ladies with appeal to the boomer generations and their offspring. Currently the show stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendi Malick, Jane Levees, and Betty White. Wendi Malick in a coincidence was in the first sitcom filmed for HBO, Dream On. Dream On itself was about a man who interpreted his life through the television he had watched growing up.
Hot in Cleveland has heralded a resurgence of the 4-camera sitcom.TV Land followed up their success by launching a new sitcom, Retired at 35, starring George Segal this year. TV Land has built upon their original programming by syndicating Hot in Cleveland. The network recently
announced a deal with CBS to show the sitcom on network television. CBS is also responsible for the syndication of Wheel of Fortune, Judge Judy, and other daytime favorites.
Will & Grace went off the air in 2006, since then Sean Hayes has been seen on the big screen. His next role is that of Larry for the Three Stooges film to be released in 2012. His last television role was a guest spot for 30 Rock.
