Boss 2.03 "Ablution" Promo: Will Kitty Cross the Aisle?
The second season of Starz's original series Boss hit the ground running. After the season premiere ended with an assassination attempt that nearly killed Kane's wife Meredith, the season continued its pace in the second episode, "Through and Through," with Kane (Kelsey Grammer) arranging for the release of his daughter Emma (Hannah Ware) from prison, with the help of his rather useful new aide Ian (Jonathan Groff). Kane also managed to nab a new senior aide, Mona Fredricks (Sanaa Lathan), who had been facing the sexual harassment of Kane's political opponent, Alderman Ross (James Vincent Meredith).
The upcoming third episode of the season will still be feeling the aftershocks of the assassination attempt. In a new promo released for the episode, Kane starts to crack down on finding the shooter, who appears to be Emma's lover Darius (Rotimi Akinosho). Emma tells him that he has to leave Chicago, but will he be able to escape in time?
The promo also shows Kitty weighing her options, hearing an offer from both Zajac (Ben Hephner) and his opponent. Crossing the aisle would be political suicide, Kitty says, but will she be able to get over the fact that she's carrying Zajac's unborn child?
Meanwhile Zajac and his wife, Maggie (Nicole Forester), "run the risk of alienating themselves from Kane when they take the reins of Zajac's gubernatorial campaign," according to the press release.

Looks like "Ablution" is going to be a pretty meaty episode. What do you think?
