Miley Cyrus is going to make a full man out of Two And A Half Men's half-man. Best known for her "controversial" new hairstyle and constant media speculation that she is either too skinny or too slutty, the former child star of the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana will make a guest appearance in a two-episode story arc on the popular-yet-formulaic CBS sitcom.
According to Deadline, the 19-year-old Cyrus will inhabit the role of Missi, an old family friend of Ashton Kutcher's character Walden, who joined the show in season nine after Charlie Sheen's character was killed off. Missi comes to stay with Walden and Alan (Jon Cryer) for a week, but she develops a relationship with Alan's son Jake, portrayed by Angus T. Jones, when he comes home from the army.
The daughter of one-hit wonder country star Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley has managed to keep herself in the public spotlight after rising to fame during her years as Hannah Montana on television from 2006 until 2010, and in two films spawned from the children's sitcom. Since the show ended, Cyrus made tabloid headlines at various times for—among other things—posing nearly nude, smoking marijuana, posting silly and inappropriate pictures with her friends on MySpace, and eating a birthday cake shaped like a giant penis. Obviously, these were headline-worthy activities for a teenage girl who had been repressed by Disney since the age of eleven. She has also appeared in a handful of critically-panned movies.
The tenth season of Two And A Half Men will premiere on CBS on Thursday, September 27.
