BREAKING NEWS! Are you sitting down? Please do so now.
A lot of people don't like Jay Leno.
Gasp!
One of those people is Jimmy Kimmel. Given Kimmel's profession, as well as his close personal friendship with Howard Stern, it shouldn't come as a huge shock that Kimmel took a shot at Leno yesterday. Earlier this week, Stern attacked Leno on his Sirius radio program, which angered NBC executives.

At a talk Monday night at New York's 92nd Street Y, Kimmel was asked about Leno and answered directly.
"F--- him," said the funnyman, according to a Hollywood Reporter story.
Kimmel was talking about his great admiration for David Letterman when he made the remark. Kimmel will be competing directly with both late night hosts when his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, shifts up 25 minutes soon.
Pouring it on, Kimmel told the crowd that his proudest moment was when he humilated the Tonight Show host on his own program.
"How about Leno?" the event's host, Bill Carter, author of The War for Late Night, asked, to which Kimmel offered his explicit, two-word response. The War for Late Night covered Leno's sneaky dealings that forced Conan O'Brien off the Tonight Show.
During that period, Kimmel mocked Leno on Live!, complete with the wig and chin pictured above.
Leno then invited Kimmel on his show, the short-lived ratings disaster that was The Jay Leno Show. During their segment, Kimmel ruthlessly attacked Leno, who was left speechless.
"People, it turns out, really don't like Jay Leno," Kimmel added, "We have not spoken since that time."
I agree with KYLEd. Especially on Kimmel. I find him much funnier than Jay, but neither is that great. And while I was a firm member of "Team Coco" during the 2010 debacle, I really think that stuff was more NBC's fault than Jay's. People need to move on , including Kimmel.
Maybe it's just me but the whole “Hate Leno” shtick seems really old now. It's fine not to like his show & even him personally but when someone constantly brings up the fact of how much they hate someone instead of simply moving on and in Kimmel's case, trying to make his show the best he can, comes across as a little sad.
