Kelsey Grammer admits to being "very sexually adventurous," but apparently that doesn't include cross dressing. At least, that's what he told Oprah in an interview that will air this Sunday on Oprah's Next Chapter, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Grammer went on to talk about his brief jaunt into reality TV, which he called anything but.
He told Oprah that he appeared on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill with his ex-wife Camille Grammer to help her fulfill her dreams of being famous.
"I made a couple of quick appearances to honor that deal of it and bequeathed to this person ... a new life.” Grammer said during the interview.
Grammer took a shot at the show's storyline, saying that it portrayed Camille as being shocked and broken by the couple's decision to split. Not true, says the actor.
“That was ‘reality.’ It’s a reality ‘show,’ so it’s a show," he said.
Camille is the one who spread the rumor about Grammer's cross dressing. He refused to dive into it, saying "that's for the bedroom," but did deny wearing women's clothing.
Grammer has since remarried, to British flight attendant Kayte Walsh, who is 25 years younger than he is. They welcome a daughter last month.
Here is a video from that show:
My take: He seems pretty uncomfortable and his denial is pretty weak. He says he doesn't "live as a cross dresser." But really, why is this anyones business but his own? If that is how he lives, fine. It wasn't Camille's place to say.
