Tamara Braun to shake up 'Castle'

A soap opera veteran has been brought aboard an ABC drama, and will definitely be a person of interest.

Tamara Braun will appear as a guest star on “Castle’s” fifth season. She will play Natalia Roosevelt on the fifth episode of the season,” a sexy bar owner and city council woman who was seen with the victim of the Hamptons' first homicide investigation,” according to The Hollywood Reporter’s breaking news story.

Characters Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) will be in the Hamptons on a romantic getaway at the time. The comedy-drama is centered in New York City, where Castlea mystery novelist, and Beckett, a detective, team up to solve unusual crimes.

Braun, who won an Emmy on soap “Days of Our Lives,” has also appeared on “All My Children” and “General Hospital.” She will also soon play Callie Thorne’s sister on USA’s “Necessary Roughness.”

Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (from Fox's “Prison Break” and also “Two And A Half Men”) will also appear as a guest star during the fifth season. She will be on the second episode of the new season.
