Former Beverly Hills 90210 Stars Developing A Sitcom Together

Dylan & Kelly

Beverly Hills 90210 fans are in for a blast from the past soon, as stars Luke Perry and Jennie Garth are teaming up to develop and star in a sitcom together.

Perry and Garth played Dylan McKay and Kelly Taylor respectively on the 90's phenomenon, and the tumultuous love affair the two engaged in was one for the ages. Unless of course you were a Dylan/Brenda fan, or a Dylan/Valerie fan, or you're like me and still wish they never killed off poor Toni Marchette. Man, Dylan really got around. Not that Kelly didn't go through her own fair share of significant others.

Anyway, the two always shared great screen chemistry, which they obviously hope to put to good use with this new venture. A title and premise hasn't been released yet, but the show is confirmed to be a multi-camera sitcom. I'm hoping that doesn't mean we're subjected to the terrors of a laugh track, but that will probably be the case.

The announcement of this project comes shortly after Luke and Jennie found themselves dodging rumors of a real-life hookup, due to the large amounts of time they've been spending together lately. The pair developing a TV series would certainly solve that mystery. I'll leave you with the recent Old Navy commercial the two did with fellow 90210 alum Jason Priestley:
