30 Rock fans have been introduced to many members of the main characters' extended families, but one person we haven't met the relatives of is fan-favorite character Kenneth the (former) Page. That's all about to change though, as TV Guide has reported exclusively.
Played by former "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" sketch player Jack McBrayer, Kenneth started as a minor supporting character, but quickly became one of the most enjoyable elements of the show for many. It's only fitting that audiences get to meet his parents before the final season of 30 Rock ends, and NBC has just cast two heavy-hitters to inhabit the roles.
Portraying Kenneth's dad will be none other than multi-Emmy winner Bryan Cranston. While 30 Rock is certainly a long way from Breaking Bad, long-time Cranston fans will remember his terrific performances as Hal on Malcolm In The Middle, which show that the man is no stranger to oddball comedy.
Playing Kenneth's mom will be Christopher Guest regular, former SNL cast member, and Kevin McCallister's mom herself Catherine O'Hara. Like Cranston, O'Hara is an award magnet, and should really need no introduction for anyone who enjoys comedy.
Details on what Kenneth's folks will actually do on the show are still being kept under wraps, but with Cranston and O'Hara involved, I'm sure it will be hilarious.
