Get ready for a lot more Gordon Ramsay on your TV screens. FOX has opted to renew Ramsay's most recent reality series Hotel Hell for a second season, according to a EW.com exclusive report.
The often abrasive, always brutally honest chef has carved out his own niche in the reality programming world, with Hotel Hell being his fourth(!) series to air this year alone on the FOX network. The other three are of course Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, and Master Chef. The first two he hosts, the last one features Ramsay as a judge. All have been previously renewed for next season, with "Hell's" actually being picked up for another season after that.
For those unaware, Hotel Hell follows the successful formula of previous Ramsay hit Kitchen Nightmares, but with the chef applying his business and presentation acumen to failing hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts, as opposed to struggling restaurants.
Ramsay had the following to say in a statement about the renewal- "The response to Hotel Hell has been truly extraordinary, and we’re really excited to have the opportunity to turn around many more hotels in dire need of intervention.
FOX executive Mike Darnell also offered his thoughts - "With Hotel Hell, Gordon has proved once again that he’s one of the most successful and appealing personalities on television. He delivered an amazing new show for us this summer that fans immediately embraced, and I can’t wait for him to get started on an even more exciting season two."
The current season of Hotel Hell ends with a two episode double shot next Monday, September 3rd from 8 to 10pm.
Did Hotel Hell deserve to get renewed?
