Glee-aholics, in one weeks time you'll be getting your fix of drama and comedy, wrapped in a nice, musical shell. Following the stunning news that the series would cover Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," today the heavy artillery was exposed.
Ric Flair himself couldn't have assembled such an awesome group of Four Horsemen. Yet, Glee did it - well, at least their music.
In the season premiere, Kate Hudson is gonna boogie to a mash-up of Lady Gaga's "Americano" and Jennifer Lopez's "Dance Again."
"It works really well, it's fun," Hudson, who plays Rachel's NYADA dance teacher Cassandra July, said of the mix. "It's got fun and levity and you see a different side of her. … This character actually has some depth."
Of course she does.
Another duet is in the works - this one consisting of Bieber's "Boyfriend" and Britney's "Boys." the second episode will pay tribute to Spears, in fact.
"When you see it on the episode, we were told to make it as cheesy and as boybandy as possible," Darren Criss (Blaine) said of the track, joking that choreographer Zach Woodlee taught them a "boy band face."
Are you stoked? I'm stoked.
Glee's fourth season takes off at 9 p.m. EST Thursday, Sept. 13, on Fox.
