The Good Wife has announced a lot of guest stars for this season, but today they finally added one that made me give a crap.
Christina Ricci is coming to the CBS' hit (can I call it a hit? No?) show for one glorious episode during its forthcoming fourth season. Ricci will play a controversial comedienne who needs some legal help from the Lockhart/Gardner team, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Ricci has kept things on the down low since Pan Am failed to take-off and was put out to pasture after 14 episodes. But now she joins with Kristin Chenoweth, Nathan Lane, Maura Tierney, Amanda Peet, Marc Warren and Miriam Shor on the new season of The Good Wife, which is arguably the strongest guest star list of any show this coming season.
I think Ricci is a pretty good actress, she just has to accept her limits. She's likely always going to be cast as the odd, outcast (possibly emo) girl. There's nothing wrong with that, it is just a case of knowing your lane and sticking in it.
The show also announced that Brian Dennehy (Tommy Boy) will be appearing in an episode as well.
The Good Wife returns Sept. 30 on CBS.
Does any of this make you more interested to watch?
