An Oscar winner will judge this season’s “Project Runway” finale.
Actress Jennifer Hudson was announced at Friday’s “Project Runway” runway show. She served as guest judge along with regulars Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia in the show's taping.
“Fashion is such a means of expressing yourself and letting your personality shine through your clothes,” Hudson told “In Style.”
This is just one of the projects Hudson is currently involved in. She just filmed a run as a Broadway star on NBC’s “Smash,” launched a QVC collection at Fashion Night Out yesterday, and will star in indie drama “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.” She also recently appeared in “The Three Stooges” on the big screen.
Jennifer Hudson was a top ten finalist on the third season of Fox’s singing competition “American Idol,” and appeared in the film “Dreamgirls.” She has also lost 80 pounds using the Weight Watchers weight loss program.
Hudson also recently had a child with World Wresting Entertainment superstar David Otunga named David Daniel Otunga Jr. The couple is also planning their wedding.
The show airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. eastern, with the season 10 grand finale scheduled to air Oct. 18, where the finalist will be named.
