'X-Factor's' Blake Shelton says Simon Cowell 'always mouthing off'

Simon Cowell was upset recently about NBC pitting “The Voice” against rival Fox’s “The X Factor,” and a judge has heard enough.

Voice coach Blake Shelton told Access Hollywood, “He’s been doing it since {The Voice} came on the air.

“Every time I turn around the guy is mouthing off. Don’t y’all wish you had time to sit around and bitch and moan like that? It’s like, ‘Do your own show! Come one! Put something together there and do your thing.

“We’ll just do ours and we won’t mouth off about you. I wish I had that much time. The guy must just have more free time than he knows what to do with.”

Cowell told last week that NBC’s decision was “a cynical, cold-hearted, unprofessional  way of doing business” that will make fans pick between the shows. He also said it could reignited a rivalry between Christian Aguilera and Britney Spears, who appear on the two shows.

Cowell said he thinks the move is personal, especially following “Britain’s Got Talent” crushing “The Voice” in the ratings when “The Voice” was moved head-to-head in the United Kingdom.

The two shows went head to head Wednesday night, so we’ll see how the ratings shake out.
