A late night FX series produced by Chris Rock is getting another season.

Political commentator and comedian W. Kamau Bell stars in “Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell,” which is produced by Rock. It will air at a new time, 11:30 p.m., and follow “Brand X with Russell Brand” the half hour before. “Brand X” was also previously renewed.
The current season ends Sept. 30, but the new one returns just two weeks later, network EVP of original programming Nick Grad announced today.
“What we’ve seen through five shows only reinforces our belief that Kamau is one of the sharpest, smartest and funniest young comedians in the business,” Grad said in a press release. “He brings an interesting perspective to late-night TV and has proven to be very comfortable in this format. That, coupled with the experience that Chris Rock and Chuck Skylar bring to the show, makes this order an easy decision.”
“I’m very excited and looking forward to working with the good people at FX,” Rock said in the statement. ”Please don't tell Rupert Murdoch.”
Bell and Brand will both air Thursdays starting Oct. 11.
FX Productions will still produce the show, and Rock, Bell and Skylar will be executive producers.
