It’s not hard to forget your favorite reality stars after their fifteen minutes of fame is over. However, once you hear their names you can’t help but wonder what they are up to these days. Bravo realizes the need for touching base with past contestants of the hit reality series Top Chef, introducing a new series Life After Top Chef.
The show features Richard Blais in Atlanta, Jen Carroll in Philadelphia, Spike Mendelsohn in Washington D.C. and Fabio Viviani in Los Angeles as their careers progress following their success on Top Chef. All four chefs are currently reaching major milestones in their career and cameras are there to catch every move.
Blais was known as a perfectionist who lost Top Chef: Chicago, but picked up the pieces to win Top Chef All Stars. He now owns a burger eatery with multiple locations. Carroll was an Executive Chef at 10 Arts in Philadelphia and is now looking to open her dream restaurant. Mendelsohn is also working hard to open his own restaurant while trying to separate himself from his famous family. Viviani was a fan favorite who appeared on Top Chef: New York. Fans can watch as he tries to become the “male Martha Stewart.” Aside from watching their careers take off, Life After Top Chef explores the personal challenges they face with relationships, families and friends as they climb to the top of the industry.
Life After Top Chef debuts Oct. 3 at 10 p.m./9c on Bravo.
