ABC's hit 'Once Upon a Time' has snagged a guest actress whose credits include 'Pretty Little Liars,' 'Brotherhood' and 'The X-Files:' Annabeth Gish.

In the seventh episode of the second season of 'Once Upon a Time,' Gish steps in as Anita, a charismatic, enigmatic and (obviously) beautiful leader of a group of humans--who also turn out to be wolves. Gish's Anita will enter the fray in the timeless battle between good and evil that has enraptured the cursed fairy tale characters that inhabit the series' setting.

Gish came on to the scene in 1988 with 'Mystic Pizza,' the critically-acclaimed film from Donald Petrie. In the 1990s, Gish stepped in to 'The X-Files' just as series star David Duchovny left the series, swiftly making her a household name and a very recognizable television actress. More recently, she delivered a masterful performance as the wife of a corrupt political candidate during several seasons of the underrated series 'Brotherhood.' Since then, Gish has held several television roles, from guest
appearances on 'Criminal Minds' and 'Lie to Me' to recurring roles on 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' and 'Pretty Little Liars.'
Fans of the series will recall that Ruby Red (played by Meghan Ory) is a wolf as well as Anita... what sort of relationship will the two characters produce? The second season of 'Once Upon a Time' kicks off on Sunday night.
