Jersey Shore star announces engagement

Jwow

Apparently Snooki isn't the only Jersey Shore star that wants to settle down and leave the party lifestyle behind.

Jenni "JWoww" Farley officially announced her engagement to Roger Mathews via InTouch magazine, where the couple was featured in a giant photo spread which showcased her cushion cut diamond sparkler, surrounded by a border of smaller stones.

"It's more than I ever expected," JWoww said. "Roger's not an average-looking guy, he's huge: his personality, his size [6'4"]. So I always said, 'I want my ring like you — big! The bigger the better!'"

Earlier this summer, the reality star and her boyfriend talked about becoming engaged down the road.

“I don’t concern myself with getting married anytime soon, but I would like an enormous ring,” she said, which caused Roger to laugh. “I just would like it sooner than later.”

“Not the first time I’ve heard that,” he replied.

Roger popped the question during a skydiving session. Naturally, the cameras were there and were rolling.

"I look over and see a hand-written sign: 'Jenni, will you ... ' and then I turned to him and freaked out," Farley said. "The whole time I'm screaming, 'What are you doing? What's going on? He's like, 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you allow me to?'"

Jersey Shore fans will remember that the two began dating during the third season.

The series' sixth and final season is slated to debut on Oct. 4.

Filing is currently underway in Snooki and JWoww's spin-off show.
