ABC devastated soap fans when the network announced “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” would be canceled. One show that is filling an hour time slot is “The Revolution.” On January 16, ABC will debut the hour-long talk show at 2 p.m ET, when viewers would normally see “One Life to Live.”
Since single-host talk shows are nearly a thing of the past. ABC is debuting the show featuring five hosts, must like “The Talk” or “The Doctors.” Ty Pennington, Tim Gunn, Harley Pasternak, Dr. Jennifer Ashton and Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry will hand out daily advice on how viewers can give their overall life a makeover.
Each day “The Revolution” will feature various segments on how to improve health, beauty, organization, home and emotional health. For example, “Hero” is a segment meant to inspire viewers. The show will feature a different woman each week who went through a five-month “revolution” of her life. Another featured segment is “Timtervention.” In “Timtervention,” Tim Gunn visits a lucky viewer’s home, giving her closet a complete makeover. “Harley’s 3 Minute Workout” is a segment that focuses on toning exercises for targeted parts of the body. Of course ‘The Revolution” touches on health, and one way is with “Mini Med School.” Dr. Jen will share helpful hints with viewers on how to stay physically healthy.
Unlike “The Doctors” or “The Talk,” this show will differ because it’s not just about presenting information. Instead it aims to use information to get people off the couch and out of low points of life. The hosts want to inspire people to make positive changes in their lives.
Will you be tuning into “The Revolution?”
