Some big names will perform on CBS’ “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.”
Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Bruno Mars have all been announced as participants in the annual runway show. This will be each artist’s first performance on the broadcast.
Models including Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio (who recently gave birth), Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson and others are slated to participate.
The television special will also include pink carpet interviews, model profiles and behind-the-scenes looks at how a fashion show is executed.
Bieber has sold over 15 million albums, and is reported worth over $100 million. Rihanna has sold 25 million albums since her 2005 debut.
Last year’s telecast featured musical performances by Maroon 5, Kanye West, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj. It drew 10 million viewers and record 18-49 and 18-34 ratings for the annual show. The 2010 version drew nine million viewers on CBS.
Edward G. Razek, Monica Mitro, Ian Stewart and Hamish Hamilton will executive produce, and Hamilton will also direct.
Victoria’s Secret had net sales of $5.5 billion in 2010.
“The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” will be broadcast Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 p.m. on CBS. It will be recorded Nov. 7.
