With silent protests becoming all the rage over the last couple of years, Community fan's have taken to these extremes to help get their favourite show back on the air. NBC recently removed Community from it's early 2012 lineup, with many fans visibly upset by the fact the most originally funny and fresh show on TV schedules since Arrested Development is currently facing the same fate as the FOX comedy.
Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook have been innundated by "Save Community" groups and the cast of the show even posted this commercial which asked us to be patient while the school shut down for a while "due to a tenacious grease fire."
Now, in arguably the most useful protest of the Occupy movement so far, a group of neafiously bearded Community fans from the dark timeline decided to flash mob NBC and express their disgust. Rather than erecting tents and harassing pedestrians with their uncleanliness, they partook in a rather different form of protest. Follow this link to view what they did.
TV Guide manage to capture the mob in their prime as they circled up in front of Rockefeller Center to give a virtuoso display of "Oh Christmas Troy." The mobs organizer and leader, Catherine Boyd, put it this way: "This is not a complaint. This is just like, let's bring all of our energy and all of our love (together). I'm not a comedic actor. I'm not a trained person of any kind, so I treid to come up with something with zero rehearsal and zero skill set."
