Two award shows scheduled for November have announced some of the talent that will be performing at each.
The Country Music Awards, which air November 1 on ABC, revealed that Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and the Band Perry will be playing at the 46th annual awards. Previously Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band were announced to be performing. Will there be any time for awards with that many acts?
Paisley and Underwood will host the event at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. ABC will be broadcasting the event live.
Chesney is up for three awards, including Entertainer of the Year, and Church is up for five. Underwood is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. The Band Perry is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year.
The MTV European Music Awards, held November 11 in Frankfurt, Germany's Festhalle, announced that Carly Rae Jepsen, fun., and Rita Ora would be playing live. Each of those acts will be making their EMA debuts. Previously announced to be playing are Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt.
These acts were identified earlier this year as MTV PUSH acts, where the music channel picks emerging talent to watch. I guess they needed them to play to justify that lofty position.
Heidi Klum will be the host for the 19th annual MTV EMAs.
