Paul Abbott back at Shameless for final Series

Paul Abbott has returned as storyliner for the eleventh and final series of the Channel 4 show. After 10 years of been in production and the loss of his father this year, Paul said of the shows ending

"Its 10th anniversary seems a fitting time to shut the book on Shameless. We've had an absolute ball making this stuff up for a living. We've given back in spades and got away with absolute murder, on behalf of such a fantastically outspoken audience. But this is also the year my dad died and he was, in abstract, my core inspiration for starting the whole Shameless party rolling, I wanted to make invisible people vivid. Closing the two eras in the same year feels very right. Now I'm off to build the next whatever-it-is"

David Threlfall is currently the only member of the Gallagher family left in the show, playing Frank. The show is currently halfway through airing it's tenth series. The American remake of the show is due to start airing it's third series next January.

Hopefully we will see some returns from previous cast members for the final 14 episodes that are set to air in early 2013. Who would you like to see return to the show?
