Eric Stoltz stole girls' hearts in the 80s which such roles in "Some Kind of Wonderful" and St. Elsewhere. In the 90s he made a string of guest appearances in everything from Mad about You to Hercules. The actor turned his attention to directing in recent years, but CBS nabbed him for a guest role on its new drama Made in New Jersey.
Stoltz recently directed an episode of the legal drama, but CBS decided to add him to the guest star list as Marcus Wheaton. Wheaton is the controlling leader of Wheaton Farms. Martina (Janet Montgomery) is hired to represent a teen who ran away to live on the farm as an escape from her parents. However, her parents soon learn that it's not just a farm, it's a cult!
Martina has proved so far this season that she can get any accused murder or sociopath off with her wit and clever problem solving skills. The show is an instant hit for the network because it ties together enough professional and personal drama into one hour. Not only do you get to watch as this first year law student blows away her new boss, but she’s busy looking for the love of her life while balancing work with her family.
Made in New Jersey is not the only drama Stoltz is lending his directing eye to. He also directs for Glee, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. There's no air date for the upcoming episode of Made in New Jersey, but catch the show every Friday at 9/8c on CBS.
