Get ready to find out what kind of tree Lindsay Lohan would be! That's because daytime television host and interview veteran Barbara Walters has been granted a one-on-one chat with the tabloid favorite wild child.
Lohan's representative told The Hollywood Reporter, "Lindsay will be doing an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters within the next few weeks. Lindsay greatly admires and respects Barbara, and is looking forward to sitting down with her."
On today's episode of "The View," Walters confirmed the interview was a go, but did not specify when it will air. The veteran broadcast journalist has gained acclaim for her ability to gain access to highly influential personalities, from Margaret Thatcher to the Shah of Iran, even if her questions leave a lot to be desired. Now in the twilight of her career, the television personality has stuck to celebrity interviews both solo and on her daytime gig as host of ABC's daytime talk show.
Primarily the actress will be focused on promoting her Lifetime original movie "Liz & Dick," the biopic in which Lohan stars as Elizabeth Taylor, but sources expect that the interview will most certainly cover Lohan's run-ins with the law, her recent family troubles, and perhaps even her endorsement of presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
