Everyone my age loves Doc Brown from the "Back to the Future" series of films. EVERYONE.

FOX's madcap comedy series 'Raising Hope' is going to play off of a little nostalgia in a coming episode, as Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the series will have a special "Back to the Future" themed episode in the coming weeks.
The most exciting news about the plans for the episode is that they are going all the way: 'Raising Hope' will be bringing in Doc Brown himself, Christopher Lloyd, to guest star on the episode in question. As much as I would love to tell you that Lloyd would somehow be reprising his "Back to the Future" role in a wild crossover event, his character on 'Raising Hope' is a loan collector named Dennis Powers. Powers calls on the Chances, seeking repayment for an old debt, after Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) consider buying a new car on credit.
How does a loan collector add up to "Back to the Future?" Well aside from the episode being thematically linked to the film series, FOX is assuring us that a DeLorean will be prominently featured as well--with
Lloyd's Dennis Powers ending up behind the wheel. Fingers crossed that Powers also shares a few key personality traits with the beloved Doc Brown... including perhaps a penchant for shouting and the flailing of limbs.
Lloyd most recently appeared on television as a guest star on 'Fringe,' however his recent feature film credits include "The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure" and "Pirhana 3DD."
Let's face it: there is no way the brass behind 'Raising Hope' are successfully attaining the heights of nostalgia they seek without Lloyd's character uttering those two famous words:
'Raising Hope' airs Tuesdays at 8:00pm EST on FOX.
