Earlier today, TV Rage's Sam McPherson brought you news about President Barack Obama appearing on Comedy Central's Daily Show this evening. Below are spoilers - if you intend to watch, don't say I didn't warn ya!

During Obama's visit to Jon Stewart's Chair of Doom, the two gentlemen discussed such issues as Fifty Shades of Grey and Joe Biden's swimwear - as well as Libya, the first presidential debate and Guantanamo Bay.
This was Obama's sixth appearance on the show, his second as president.
Highlights:
* When shown two pictures of First Lady Michelle Obama - one of her frowning, one of her smiling - Obama was asked if he could tell which was from which debate. “Cute. Cute, Jon,” Obama laughed, admitting that the first debate was an off night and his "presentation was not the way it needed to be."
* Stewart asked Obama about the government's response on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, Obama called it “not the optimal response," adding that, "if four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.” He called “a big operation and [at] any given time something screws up...(as president)you make sure that you find out what’s broken and you fix it."
* Stewart asked Obama about his 2008 campaign promise to close Guantanamo Bay. Obama said, "I still want to close Guantanamo. We haven’t been able to get that through Congress. One of the things we have to do is put a legal architecture in place, and we need Congressional help to do that so that not only am I reined in but any president’s reined in terms of some of the decisions we’re making.”
* When asked how often Biden shows up for meetings in his wet suit, Obama said he put out a directive to stop that. "We had to stop that," he said, “I gotta say though, he looks pretty good.”
As expected, nothing too serious or deep. The Daily Show is a great opportunity for Obama to come off as down to Earth, likable and still presidential.
The Daily Show airs at 11 p.m. EST tonight.
