Henry Ian Cusick is a busy man!
Very recently, I wrote up a news report about Cusick landing a recurring role on 'The Mentalist.' As if his work on 'The Mentalist,' 'Scandal' and 'Fringe' wasn't sufficient, TV Guide is reporting that Cusick has signed on for a guest role on Dana Delaney's hit series 'Body of Proof.'
'Body of Proof' has been upping its game of late, landing recurring co-star Mark Valley ('Human Target') and now bringing in Cusick, of 'LOST' fame. Valley plays Tommy, partner to Delaney's Megan Hunt; Cusick will portray a therapist, doctor to some of the suspects that Megan and Tommy are investigating.
Cory Miller, who wrote the episode featuring Cusick's character, couldn't contain his excitement about the calibre of actor 'Body of Proof' brought in for the performance. Miller took to Twitter to post this sneak peak--you can practically hear the glee in his voice.
'Body of Proof' returns to ABC midseason, alongside a handful of comedies and other dramas. With the recent casting, it seems that ABC is intending to come off the bench strong--good news, considering 'Last Resort' has put up rather underwhelming numbers so far.
Following his very busy television schedule, Cusick will appear in the upcoming feature 'Frank v. God,' where Cusick stars as a man who serves his god with a lawsuit.
