The Mark Gordon Co. has now sold six projects.
“Dirty Girls,” a half-hour comedy set up at ABC. The company has an overall deal there.
Moe Jelline will write, and the project is based on the “Dirty Girls: The Naked Truth About Our Guilty Secrets” book by Gillian Telling.
“Dirty Girls” revolves around a group of female friends who expose the dirty truth of women’s secret lives. Telling wrote the book using anecdotes from her and her friends’ lives.
Gordon, Jelline and Andrea Shay (Mark Gordon Co.) will be executive producers.
The other Mark Gordon Co. projects sold this development season are :”Sex Diaries;” “Pros & Cons;” “Gothica;” a family drama co-written by Bob Daily and Pierce Gardner that remains untitled; and female soap “Vain” from Holly Sorenson (“Make It or Break It”).
“Sex Diaries” is a dramedy inspired by “New York” magazine’s popular weekly feature. “Pros & Cons” is a procedural about an FBI agent who discovers the father she didn’t know is a master thief. In “Gothica” a woman searching for her identity ends up finding a supernatural world full of horror and mystery.
