The Good Wife returned for its fourth season with the firm working hard to gather enough funding to secure its financial future, while Alicia, Peter and Eli are working on the election. Things will only get more intense as a TV star returns to the small screen after a few years away from television.
Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight is returned to appear on the CBS drama later in the season. Knight played George on the ABC medical drama, who died in the 2009 season of the show. Since departing from the show, he focused on his Broadway career having only made a short appearance on NBC's Law and Order: Special Victim's Unit last year.
Entertainment Weekly broke the news, but few details are currently available about his role. He will play a "political operative." Knight is the latest guest star to join the growing list of major stars appearing on the show. This includes Amanda Peet, Maura Tierney, Nathan Lane, Christina Ricci, Brian Bennehy and Stockard Channing. It's not uncommon for characters to land a special spot in viewers' hearts, and most guest stars have recurring roles- could it be the same for Knight?
The Good Wife airs on CBS every Sunday at 9/8c.
