Mark-Paul Gosselaar is suddenly one of the most sought-after names in television. After TVRage recently reported that his TNT series 'Franklin & Bash' had been renewed for another season, we also reported that he would be appearing as himself on 'Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23' alongside Frankie Muniz. To complete the trifecta of Gosselaar news, TVRage has learned that the former Zack Morris will be appearing on an episode of 'Happy Endings' on ABC.
EW has reported that Gosselaar ('Franklin & Bash') will appear on 'Happy Endings' as the "mysterious new roommate" of Max Blum, played by Adam Pally ('Californication'). Gosselaar fans will have a while to wait on the appearance, however--the first episode of the new 'Happy Endings' season airs tomorrow and Gosselaar comes to town come episode ten.
Set in the Windy City, 'Happy Endings' is a sitcom about six young Friends who deal with life, work, love and being Friends. No matter what happens in their lives, the group of Friends has each other, as if to say "I'll be there for you... when the rain starts to pour... I'll be there for you... like I've been there before."
You see where I'm going with this.
Aside from Pally, 'Happy Endings' stars Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Damon Wayans Jr. and Casey Wilson. 'Happy Endings' airs on Wednesdays on ABC.
