As if fans of Arrested Development weren't already excited enough about the return of the cult comedy series, a slew of guest stars has been tapped for the long-awaited fourth season. Now you can add Conan O'Brien and sidekick Andy Richter to that list.

During Tuesday's edition of Conan on TBS, Will Arnett was asked about Arrested Development and noted that all kinds of people—from the Huffington Post to people on the street to Bruce Springsteen—have asked him over the last seven years if the show would ever come back. Excited about returning to the role that finally brought him mainstream success, Arnett indicated that "a few people on this stage tonight" would also be involved in the new season. Just in case that hint was too subtle, Arnett gestured to himself, Richter, and O'Brien while Andy pointed out that "a few" meant more than two and less than four.
While no specifics were mentioned as to the roles that O'Brien and Richter might be playing, Andy appeared in the third season of the show as a fictionalized version of himself, as well as his quintuplet siblings Donnie, Chareth, Rocky, and Emmett. This was a reference to Richter's short-lived sitcom Quintuplets, which lasted one season on FOX in 2004-05.

Scheduled to premiere on Netflix in the spring of 2013, the 13-episode season will also feature guest appearances from stars such as Carl Weathers, Isla Fisher, John Slattery, and Terry Crews.
If Andy Richter already portrayed himself (and his four fictional wombmates) on the show previously, it stands to reason that Conan will also be playing himself since it's hard to imagine him in any other role. Are you looking forward to the return of the Richter quintuplets?
