This past Friday saw NBC win the demos, while CBS had more total viewers.
Shark Tank dropped from last week's series high, but still did well. A Katie Couric hosted special looking inside the world of country music brought in a subpar audience. 20/20 matched last week. Bad news for FOX, as the premiere of Kitchen Nightmares dropped huge from last year's debut, while the soon departing Fringe continues to draw dismal viewership.
CBS' Friday pattern of lacking demos and high totals continued unabated, with neither CSI:NY or Blue Bloods breaking a 1.5 in the 18-49 demo, but respectively having the two largest total audience shares of the night. The one-off Mockingbird Lane pilot did poorly, virtually guaranteeing that it will never see an additional episode order. Meanwhile, lead out Grimm saw a big rise from last week, which fans should be very pleased with. Dateline also rose. On the CW, America's Next Top Model dropped, as did Nikita, which hit yet another new series low.
