So long high school, Jayma Mays is set to graduate to the big leagues!
The doe-eyed, adorable actress is set for a multi-episode arc on FX's delightfully crass comedy "The League" during its current fourth season.
So far, few details are available regarding her character other than that she will play an interior decorator. Her popular characters on "Heroes" and "Glee" would be a great contrast to the (again, delightful) vulgarity of the League members, although it would be interesting to see her go against type and join in on the ball-busting that is characteristic of Ruxin, Pete, Kevin and the gang. Methinks her innocent look and fresh faced optimism would seem to make her ripe for a nouveau rich Taco to take advantage of, especially considering Casa Del Taco could use a few upgrades to reflect its namesake's moving up in the world.
In any case, "Glee" fans: fear not. Mays will continue her role as the innocent Emma on the popular Fox musical, although juggling the two parts should be made easier as she was downgraded to recurring status for "Glee"'s current season.
What do you think would be the best use of Mays? Taco's personal decorator? Nursery designer for young Chalupa Batman?
