It is amazing how quickly your opinion of someone can change. I have liked Adam Carolla for a long-time. I find him amusing, if a bit overbearing and best dished out in small parts. But Carolla, who was recently hired by Fox News to serve as a contributor on the O'Reilly Factor, lashed out in an interview with web2carz.com, an auto and lifestyle website, about Hollywood and President Barack Obama.
Apparently Carolla, who served as co-host on the Man Show for quite some time, doesn't feel like he is part of Hollywood.
"I have no connection with Hollywood," Carolla said during the interview to promote Wreck-It Ralph, the new Disney feature film that he serves as a co-star in. "I’m not interested. I don’t care. I’ve called them all hacks a thousand times. I don’t care to go back and work with their untalented, uncreative, narcissistic asses and I don’t give a s---. Feel free to print this in as bold a print as you like."
Next on his list of targets was Obama, specifically Obama's slogans from his first campaign
"C’mon, 'Hope and Change?' We’re not supposed to hope for anything, we’re supposed to go get stuff. This country is not about hope. Ethiopia is about hope. We’re about manufacturing jobs. Hope is retarded; change is semi-insulting considering we are already the best system in place," he said.
This is America and everyone is open to their opinion. Carolla is definitely a success story. After landing on academic probation from a community college, he worked his way though a bunch of jobs, including carpenter, boxing instructor, traffic-school instructor and carpet cleaner, before getting his break when he met Jimmy Kimmel for a boxing event Kimmel was training for.
He is an entertaining guy and funny, but seems to view how the world works and how his life actually happened in very different ways.
