Haven fans, rejoice! Today is a glorious day. Syfy has renewed the series for a 13-episode fourth season, which will air next year.
Haven has been a steady rising show for the network and has averaged 2.4 million viewers this season. Among adults in the key 18-49 demo, it attracted 942,000 viewers, as well as the drama's best adults 25-54 average at 1.2 million viewers.
"We couldn’t be happier to see the story of Audrey Parker and the creepy, quirky town of Haven continue next year. Season three has hit a creative and critical high and we’re very excited to see where the talented production team takes our colorful cast of characters led by the perfect trifecta of Emily Rose, Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant in season four," said Mark Stern, Syfy president of original content.
Haven is based on novella The Colorado Kid by Stephen King and focuses on ex-FBI agent Audrey Parker. Parker is a cop in the town of Haven, Maine and learns that the town has some hidden secrets, to put it lightly. These secrets help her understand her mysterious past.
The series airs in Canada (and is filmed there) on Showcase and was renewed there prior to the third season finale (which airs December 21). It also airs on Universal Networks International.
do to the school shooting in CT. the episode of haven was not aired that night & i am curious as to when or if it will be
I can't wait to see what season 4 holds - at least we'll still have a real show on Syfy, and not most of that reality garbage.
Awesome news, i love this show
Great news!
Syfy has for once made a good decision.
