In a repeat of last Friday, ABC won the demos, while CBS won total viewers.
After last week's really strong debut numbers, comedies Last Man Standing and Malibu Country came crashing back down to Earth. LMS dropped four tenths of a ratings point, while MC dropped nearly a whole point. While the second episode of the season usually drops from the premiere, the amount of the drop isn't encouraging. Shark Tank also dropped, but still won the night in demos. 20/20 rose a small amount.
Grimm came in just below last week. Dateline went up two tenths, as did FOX's Kitchen Nightmares. The latter show continues to draw dreadful demos when compared to previous seasons in a different time slot. The soon departing Fringe matched last week, but as always, it doesn't really matter.
On the Eye, Undercover Boss made a good showing, going up half a point. CSI:NY and Blue Bloods continue to draw mediocre to bad demos, while ruling things total viewer wise. On the CW, America's Next Top Model went up a good amount, while Nikita continues its stay in the demo doldrums. Hopefully the network's decision to move the show back to 8pm in December helps things.
