A bad week for the Biebs just got a little better. Justin Bieber, fresh off breaking up with Selena Gomez (or being broken up with. I don't care.) won three 2012 MTV European Music Awards, joining Taylor Swift as the top winners. Please, Justin, don't date Taylor though. The world cannot live through an album ripping up Bieber.
“This is my very first EMA, I'm so excited. This is unreal,” Swift said after winning the award for best female act. “This is the first time touring in Europe. Thank you for giving us another reason to come back.”
Rihanna, who was nominated for six awards, went home empty handed - Chris Brown is going to be pissed.
The awards show was dominated by newcomers to the music scene. Carly Rae Jepsen won Best Song for Call Me Maybe, as well as the best PUSH act (the artist who benefits from the MTV Push format). So basically MTV awarded an award to themselves.
