Primetime Ratings, Saturday, 11/17/12 & Sunday, 11/18/12

(Sorry these are so late. Really hectic week for me so far. Monday and Tuesday's numbers should also be up before the end of the day.)

The Saturday night sports-a-thon saw ABC's college football broadcast win in both totals and demos.

On Sunday, the status quo reigned, as NBC won in all metrics on the back of Sunday Night Football. In non-sports programming, America's Funniest Home Videos dropped took a pretty big hit. The bad news for ABC continued, as the 2012 American Music Awards went down a full ratings point, becoming the lowest rated AMA telecast in history.

FOX's Animation Domination block saw The Simpsons dip almost a full point after last week's NFL overrun inflated episode. Bob's Burgers also took a large fall. Family Guy fell to a much smaller extent, while American Dad climbed back up to a 2.0, after its last broadcast drew a weak 1.8.

Over on CBS, primetime programming was delayed until approximately 55 minutes past the hour due to a long-running NFL game. Therefore the ratings presented below are non-standard, making any type of pattern analysis basically useless. CBS really needs to come up with a better solution to this issue, maybe quit programming a new show at 8pm, since football never seems to stay in its timeslot. I know my mom gets angry when her recording of Amazing Race never starts or ends at the same time.
