USA's upcoming 2013 series 'Graceland' is adding a little starpower.
Best known for her role on 'The L-Word,' beauty Mia Kirshner will be appearing in the third episode of the highly anticipated series from 'White Collar' writer and creator Jeff Eastin.
Kirshner will play Ashika Pearl, a California medical marijuana farmer who, despite her penchant for new-age trendiness, isn't afraid to get her hands dirty when her criminal enterprise is threatened. Seems like a good fit, if you recall her characterization of Jenny Schechter on 'The L-Word.'
Slated to premiere summer 2013, 'Graceland' is Eastin's follow-up to his smash-hit 'White Collar.' 'Graceland' is an hour-long drama about DEA, FBI and US Customs agents who are, for some reason, forced to live together in a repossessed beach house in Southern California. Sounds more like a bad premise for a reality show than a plausible drama.'Graceland' stars Daniel Sunjata ('Rescue Me') and Aaron Tveit ('Gossip Girl').
'White Collar' was recently renewed for a 16-episode fifth season. Eastin has also created NBC's 'Hawaii' and UPN's 'Shasta McNasty.'
